event info

"Small World/Big Divides: Building Bridges in an Age of Extremes" is an international summit focusing on practical strategies for world peace. On October 18, 2006, Syracuse University will act as a site of convergence for national and international leaders to engage in a contemplative—and active—dialogue representing a range of perspectives and experiences.

Working on the premise that community is both local and global, the dialogue will be drawn not only from the expertise of the panel, but will also engage the community beyond the stage. Audience participation in the event is welcomed—and encouraged.
